We’ve been there ourselves and learned a lot along the way in all types of boats – power and sail, big and small.
We started Kismet Marine to help other cruisers with anything they need in connection with their boat – our service is totally flexible and tailored to your needs. Not everyone has the technical skills – or the available time – to devote to the design of new systems, procurement of equipment or project managing the installation work. Not everyone has a bottomless pocket to pay for help from the normal high price marine suppliers! You might know what you want to achieve but not how to get there.
Each project we undertake is individual – it could just be replacement of a small electrical system or electronics – or it could be a complete renovation or new boat build. Perhaps you are looking for a system to keep all your maintenance records and manage your spare parts inventory. We will listen to what you are trying to achieve, try to come up with smart and cost-effective designs and help you buy the equipment at the best possible price, wherever you are in the world. When it comes to a new build, we will help you specify YOUR boat – using our knowledge and experience to advise you, but always keeping in mind it’s YOUR boat not ours! No project is too small – if you need help we’re here!
